A Low Key Day At Camp

Halfway through our week and it’s time for a clean up day. Time to mail some bills, grocery shopping at the country store, straighten up the cabin and wash a few loads of laundry.

The first day here on Sunday it didn’t get much above 40’ and their was snow on the ground all over camp. Thankfully yesterday it made it to 60’. The snow is all but gone and it was just a beautiful day here. Nothing beats the deep blue sky of the mountains.

We took a break from hanging out at camp for lunch in Sunriver at the Village Bar & Grill. I’d love to say this was another amazing meal out, but to be honest the boys were being rather bratty. They wanted to go here and eat outside, then decided they were miserable sitting in the sun. 🙄 Kids are just so fun sometimes….

Lots of people on social media have amazing pet photos. I’m not much of a photographer but I gave it my best shot today. It is not easy! I’m not sure if I just have extremely hyper pets, or what, but they wouldn’t stop moving.

Today it’s supposed to be even a bit warmer than yesterday, 65’ and blue sky! We’re planning on hitting the Nature Center in Sunriver. If all goes well we will have a picnic lunch and bike through the trails. I love the loop that takes us past the marina and stables. If I remind myself, I’ll pack a few apples for the horses. Doggies will have to sit this one out. They aren’t going to be happy.

Thanks for reading our post and showing interest in our family blog.
