Since joining WordPress a month ago I’ve read and had fun trying to write, so many blogs I’m pretty sure I’ve ruined my Goodreads goal for 2018, and I’m ok with that.
I have learned so much this first month creating our blog. The first thing I have to give you all credit for is, it’s way harder than it seems. Designing your layout, widgets, links, footers, and menus… aside from writing anything, it’s a lot to take in!
I’ve visited so many amazing sites! It’s very humbling.
Reading your blogs and seeing your photographs has really excited me too, and motivated me to figure these things out. I love the intimacy of your words and I can’t help but feel like I am getting to know you just a little. Im hopeful this is the beginning of a great friendship between us.
Reading some of your blogs is like a series that continues on, some daily, every few days, once a week and longer. I’m trying to find my own rhythm there.
The blogging world also has its own rules to follow, and I’m trying to get a grasp on all this too. I try to visit a few of the sites I follow and really get a feel for your blog each day. I want to give credit where I can. Yet as a new blogger, I’m not sure how valuable my words are(lol), but I’m very sincere.
Writing is a whole different obstacle for me, trying to discover my style, content and audience. I usually wake up and write whatever is on my mind that day, no style involved (lol). But it’s just really fun! So for a nerdy mom, that loves to read, I’ve been missing out. Where have you been WordPress? Where have I been…?
Thanks for reading quirky thoughts from a new blogger.
