Be Kind. Always.

Good Morning!

I have one of my favorite quotes to share with you for this glorious Tuesday! Tuesday is my favorite day of the week after all!🤪

This week I’m having more trouble with the chronic pain in my neck and shoulders, I need to go back to physical therapy again. It’s been something that’s been off and on since last summer. It has been really weighing on me.

But it’s made me think lately of a simple quote about passing judgement on others.

I love this quote so much, it really helps me to have a better internal conversation with myself about how I perceive people’s actions.

I tend to be very impatient at times with people in general and I often will be quick to personalize whatever is going on. This is something I’ve gotten better at over the years, but this quote sort of helps me with both of those issues.

When I was a kid my dad’s way of helping and being a bit funny would be to say, not everything has to do with you, ya know? And he of course, was right!

Instead of thinking 🤔 did I do something wrong? Are they upset with me? I can reframe it into a more positive thought  I hope everything is ok with that person.

So there is my thought for you today,

Be kind, you don’t know what someone else is going through right now.

Have a great day! Thanks for reading and showing an interest in our family blog.

  1. I struggle with this as well. Especially since I work with the public and am always friendly and smiling. So when someone is not I tend to jump very quickly to judgement. I am working on this and as always am still a work in progress. 🙂

  2. Reframe it into a more positive thought I hope everything is ok with that person….. I love that. It’s so important to do.

  3. I like your post. A good book for kids and adults is, Thinking Changing and Rearranging. It about changing our thoughts and feelings so we feel better and we treat others better.
