WWW Wednesday’s

Good morning friends! ☀️ Happy Hump Day!

I thought I would continue with last Wednesday’s post…and try to make it a weekly thing. That will help keep me honest with my reading goals!

  • What am I reading currently? What did I just finish reading? and  What am I planning to read next?

📖What am I currently reading?5B98F131-F531-4695-9894-A2ABFCFBE70E

I am reading something I would have never chosen on my own, and I am really excited to read it! I am taking part in a book club with a fellow blogger, you should come check it out with me. Her name is Rebeca from Long Readers Book Club. We are reading Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman for the May selection, so your not too late to join us.

I started the book this morning and so far I am liking it, but I am only about 50 pages into it.

📖What did I just finish reading?F5840C18-FAE0-4750-90D7-0A5F91E4E338

I just finished Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and it was really fun and entertaining! 5 stars! Both my millennial children told me how awesome the movie was and that they wanted me to see it, but I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not.

I am not a gamer like they are, even though I have spent a year on World of Warcraft with them and I can tell the theme music to any number of games that they play(Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, Kingdom of Hearts, etc…)

Aside from the story and pace of the scifi action, all of the references to the 80’s really kept my interest! I am a nerd-freak for School House Rocks, and it was even mentioned in the book…

so if you haven’t read it yet I would definitely make it your next read!

📖What am I going to read next?449E55F1-9BF4-4F32-A960-E26CFC72FB96

This is a great question because I have literally 6 books on my desk that are due back from the library in a week. Most of them are YA books except for The Woman In The Window.

So I guess it all depends on how quickly I finish Practical Magic, but I’m leaning towards The Wild Robot. 🤖

Have a great Wednesday! Thanks for reading..
