What is everyone reading this week?
Here we are to hump day again! And this week I have got back on track with my reading. I’ve been really enjoying the books I got before vacay. But like usual I am just not reading through them fast enough. I still have a pile waiting for me…
WWW is a weekly post where I discuss the books I’ve read and enjoyed the most each Wednesday!
Here is my week in books…
What have I just finished reading?
I ended last week with Us Against You by Fredrik Backman. You can click the above link for my full review. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I am just finishing and about to review Caraval by Stephanie Garber. I am really getting into this one!
What am I reading now?
I am starting The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller later this evening. I have been putting off my Elin Hilderbrand book The Perfect Couple only because all of your reviews have been driving me crazy for Caraval and Song of Achilles! Hilderbrand is one of my fav’s too!!
What will I be reading next?
I am promising myself to read The Perfect Couple next! I will probably read it very slow so I can savor it! Hilderbrand’s books are written with summer and sand in mind. And that is where my mind is this week. I also plan to read Turtles All the Way Down by John Green. I don’t know a lot about this title but enjoyed his earlier book, The Fault in Our Stars!
What we are reading during circle time?
Back to work after an amazing break we have had preschool all this week so we have three story times to share with you. Does your little one have a favorite book? Some of these I picked this week just knowing what my kiddo’s love to hear.
Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? by Eric Carle is always a favorite. The kids will actually read me the entire book if I only turn the pages. Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site by Sherri Duskey Rinker is a favorite for a few of the boys in our group.
For me this week, my favorites go to Duck, Duck Dinosaur and the Noise at Night by Kallie George and Hedgehugs by Steve Wilson and Lucy Tapper.
Duck, Duck Dinosaur is perfect for any child in love with dinosaurs. The story is fun but its the adorable illustrations that really keep my attention. Hedgehugs is the story of two “way too cute” Hedgehogs 🦔 that want to hug each other and can’t.
That sums up my week in reading! What have your been reading? How about for toddlers or preschoolers at bedtime, any favorites? Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading! 📖
