My 10 Reads Planned for October

It doesn’t always work the way I hope, but these are the titles I have lined up for reading in October..

Titles I have lined up to review from NetGalley:

I already finished up Del Toro Moon this morning and I am about a third of the way through The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I am super excited to start all of these!

A few Kate DiCamillo books toward reading all the Newbery Books:

Two YA titles I’ve been wanting to read for months now…

+Maybe an 11th title for October, if I have time. The Couple Next Door has been on my shelf for a few months now. I still have not got through this one and I just know it’s going to be good!

84873FAE-CD20-45E7-9B14-6707504BFAB0Life rarely go as planned🙄, or as smoothly as I’d like, but I think this is good plan for the month!

What is on your shelf to read this month? Have you read any of these titles? How are you doing on your reading goal for the year?

Happy Reading!

  1. Cinder is a great book! The author really puts clever spins on fairy tales; I love the whole series.

My plan for October is to get spooky! I’m picking up all the Halloween reads.

      • Thanks!! I don’t really post my reading lists, so you won’t find it on my blog, but here’s some advance information: my first review of the month will be The Fifth Child by Doris Lessing, and I’m currently reading a collection of Shirley Jackson stories!

      • Awesome! I look forward to your review! I liked the Peter Pan costume! I always love dressing up for Halloween for my preschoolers! But I haven’t decided what to be this year yet! Happy Reading!👻

  2. No, I’m STILL reading the same book because I HAVENT been really been reading it every night. I’m reading a book on my iPad, because I got suckered in by a “50 Shades” reference-it’s really good! It’s called Crave.

  3. What a great list! We have several of the same books on our list for this month: Cinder – I thought I was the only one who hadn’t read this one, Little Darlings, The 71/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, and the Gift From the Comfort Food Café. I’ll be watching for your thoughts on these. Good luck with your reading this month!

    • It is sitting on my desk… but I keep getting distracted. Like the four puddings and a funeral, found it on kindle unlimited so I just downloaded it. Lol I want to read that now! I’m all over the place with my reading. 🤪
