4W Wednesday

Try Audible and Get Two Free AudiobooksHappy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a great week so far and staying healthy! I’ve struggled with the latter.. 😷

Here is my second weekly update for October…

What is 4w?

It is a weekly post where I recap my week in books! It originally was a WWW Wednesday Post that I’ve tweaked to make my own. I cover books that I’ve been reading, plan to read and What I’ve been reading with our preschool, usually highlighting my favorite picture book each week.

  • I just started Little Darlings  by Melanie Golding and I am excited and a bit freaked out at the same time, I am hoping it’s not too scary! I love thrillers but not super capable with horror. 😲
  • Cinder by Marissa Meyer, I am partly reading and also listening to the audiobook. I am really liking this dystopian/fantasy book, and I am just over halfway!
  • Flora and Ulysses is a cute, Middle Grade read that I’ll be finishing up this week by Kate DiCamillo.
  • All-Buttered Short Dead is written by H. Y. Hanna and I’m just starting this one too!

If your wondering why I’m reading so many books at the same time, I have no clue either! It just seemed fun and I can’t  seem to read fast enough!🤪

  • I just finished reading A Gift From The Comfort Food Cafe by Debbie Johnson, and my review is here.. This book totally got me in the mood for Fall, and made me want to bake something yummy!  🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
  • I also read An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen, my review is here. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Such a fun thriller!!
  • The Adventures of Wilhelm, A Rat’s Tale by Maria Ritter, I haven’t wrote my review yet.🔥🔥🔥 I thought I was going to be reading a cute mouse’s story but this book ended up being more of an educational travel book for middle grades.  If your homeschooling, this has lots of historical and geographical value.

137646C7-C7C1-418F-8836-B399234CF432 I’ve continued reading more from Advanced Reader Copies(ARC’s) from NetGalley. These are the titles you can expect to seeing a review of…

  • Cogheart by Peter Bunzl (pub date February 12, 2019).
  • The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo
  • The Little Shop of Found Things by Paula Brackston (pub date October 16, 2018)

We are still enjoying our latest Scholastics order below…so far my favorite book is Little Tree and Pout Pout Fish-Halloween Faces!

That wraps up my week in books…How did you spend your past week? Have you read any of these books, or plan to?

Happy Wednesday friends!
