10 Questions About Fall

What is one candle you MUST light every Fall?

Ryan and I agree, we like to get a 3 wick vanilla candle each Fall! That’s our favorite!

When you think of Fall, what does it remind you of?

We think of the changing colors of all the leaves, apple picking, or for Ryan, FMOF (fear of missing out on 🏈 football), baking more and of course Halloween! 🕸

What is your all time fall/Halloween movie?BD122291-B494-4675-8C95-04284AAB02B5.jpeg

Hocus Pocus, and being a preschool teacher I still love… It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.🎃

What Halloween costume do you have in mind?

I try to stick with some princess or friendly witch, nothing too spooky since it’s for the kiddos. Ryan has a shark costume, and so does our Yorkie. Coco isn’t sure what she wants to be, she gets nervous easily. 👻

What is your favorite Fall trend?

I am not sure. I am definitely not into pumpkin spice lattes, I’d be more apt to try a pumpkin ale!

When you think of Fall, what drink comes to mind?

For us, Fall means drinking more tea, more coffee, just hot drinks in general. We also drink wine in the evenings as opposed to more beer during the warmer months.

What is your go to fall beauty product? A must have staple!

I am super boring here, I don’t wear much makeup at all, but my one staple is I get a spray tan once a week, usually on a Thursday before the weekend. This isn’t a fall thing, but it’s a staple for me.

Do you prefer apple or pumpkin pie?

Ryan says apple, and will go with pumpkin with cool whip on top! Ryan actually loves eggnog pie!

Do you have any fall traditions? If so tell us all about them!

We always make one big trip to the farm for corn, nuts, apples, pumpkins, and just to enjoy the farm. I have been going to the same farm since I was a kid(40 years)🙀 and it’s a fun tradition for me. They kids enjoy a hay ride and corn maze too! I also love to make applesauce each fall, but sadly I am the only one in my family that eats it. 🙄

The moment of truth, is Fall your favorite season?

Ummm, no not even close, Ryan says summer is his favorite and probably mine too, but second for me is spring! I love to plant flowers and see things come back to Life! Ryan’s second is fall!

  1. I love springtime for the same reason you do. I love seeing things come back to life! And I can’t choose between a good apple pie and a luscious pumpkin pie. I like em both. Charlie Brown in the Pumpkin Patch always has been a favorite of mine. Happy Halloween! I’ll be buzzin’ at our Halloween Carnival in my bee costume again. <3

  2. It was so great reading your answers! I didn’t know you were a preschool teacher! That’s awesome. My kids say I should be a teacher, but I’m already six kids in, I don’t know about adding up another 20 in the mix. Haha! You make a world of difference in what you do, I respect you immensely. And I love love, ‘It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown,’ one of my all time favorites, and I look forward to watching it each year.

  3. Awesome post! I’ve actually never dressed up as a witch before 🤔 maybe I’ll try it out this year too! Great picks for movies, I still love Charlie Brown <3

    • Thank you! I have lots of memories of being a witch, my mom made me be a witch for several years straight because we had the costume… lol.
