Sandy beaches, tiny arrows, and knee-high trees. What has the Library turned into this time? The Nightingale Library pages are all against armies of tiny people on the island of Lilliput from Gulliver’s Travels. Meanwhile their giant arch enemies have lost track of their giant pet monkey, who’s loose in the library!

My Review:

I was first drawn to this book by the illustrations on the cover! I didn’t realize the Midnight Library was a series, but it still reads just fine by itself and is filled with plenty of awesome illustrations!590C0484-C19F-4B8C-9921-79B10E03A9F5

This series takes place in the children’s section of the Sir Mitchell Nightingale City Library. Every day at 12pm the library transforms into one of its classic tales. In this particular story you jump into the world of Gulliver’s Travels. Jordan a volunteer at the library has fallen asleep and wakes up to find herself tied up by tiny people. The story takes off there as Jordan and the other volunteers at the library have to find their way back.

This is a fun little chapter book and an awesome premise for a series! I will definitely keep an eye out for more in this Midnight Library Series!

Thank you to Capstone and NetGalley for this advanced copy. My opinions are my own. This book will be published January 1, 2019.

Happy Reading!
