57’ and Sunny ☀️

Thursday was amazing for a winter day in January. We basically had tee shirt weather! I was able to get a break from daycare long enough for a walk at a wetland park near our home.

Here are a few of my photos…

These ducks were making quite a racket, so I started watching them. The female duck in front has caught a frog in her mouth. Eventually one of the males takes it from her, but she put up a good fight for it.

There is a blue heron in this photo but I took this with my iPad so you can’t really see it. I wasn’t expecting it to be so nice!

I love watching two ducks waddling off alone together..❤️

This weather is “supposed to” hold out for the next week! I sure hope they are right! Tomorrow should be almost 60’ in Florence. I can’t wait!

Have a wonderful weekend friends!☀️

  1. I have to admit I am just a little bit jealous. We have had mostly above normal but not quite that warm and it’s now gotten cold. I would love to be outside in t-shirt. Enjoy!!!!

    • I agree… they really got my attention by how noisy they were being. They were chasing her for a while before I noticed the frog… she fought hard for it. 😊
